The still life image of fruit was taken using a flash which helped the colors to appear more vividly. No adjustments were made to the fruit picture. Perhaps taking the photo in a better lit area, or against a more contrasting background would have been better. For the landscape picture I enhanced the levels in Photoshop which helped to brighten the image. I like that you can see the moon in the image (if you look close) :)
Great shots! I love the lighting on the landscape and it's composition. I love the little sliver of moon that is visible. The fruit one is great, but could maybe use a little tweaking with the levels and saturation and what not. Great job!
