We spent all day taking pictures in the gost town of Bannack, Montana! What an adventure it was!! I had a hard time narrowing my photos down to the ones that I most wanted to share from this trip. Overall, I feel like I really came to understand how to better use my cameras different settings. I learned how to use the manual setting in order to take the Ghost picture. I practiced more with the macro setting to archive shallow depth of field. I used the portrait setting and learned about what makes for good light in a portrait photo. I think what I like most overall in these photos is the deep red color which is so abundant throughout the old town!

I really like your photo of the mason temple! I like how you placed the weeds in the foreground but how the mason temple is blurred. I actually think that it seems less spooky and more artistic. Anyway, I really like all of your shots especially the photo of the wagon wheels. I think the colors are very vivid and the lighting was perfect.
ReplyDeleteI really like the wagon wheel photo! Nice angle! I think all of them just look great. You did a great job at the portrait shot too, the lighting is just right. Good job with your photos. I like the way you pay attention to detail.

Sharon, Great photos! You went some places that I never even saw. I love that wagon car, I must've missed it. I think my favorite has got to be the one of the window reflection. That one really sticks out to me. nice work!
ReplyDeleteWow you ended up with a lot of great photos. You did a great job at getting the feel of Bannack in your photos. My favorite pics are of the town, the wheel, glass and the weeds with school. I like the composition, color and angle of all of these. Great job!
ReplyDeletegood job! i enjoyed the picture of the wagon wheel, the angles used really made the picture pop out. I also liked the ghost shot with the three people, good touch by letting one show up more than the others.
