Portraits
Smelling Flowers; 10/23/09; 5:25pm; BYU-I Gardens; f3.8; 1/60; Samsung L830
On the Bridge; 10/23/09; 5:40pm: BYU-I Gardens; f3.8; 1/60; Samsung L830
My roommate was sweet enough to let me do a photo shoot of her in the gardens. All of the images of her were taken on the 'portrait' setting of my camera. In both of these images I just used photoshop to enhance the contrast and highlights. I really enjoyed taking pictures of her!!

I really like the natural settings of the portraits and how clear they turned out. They look awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe lighting looks really nice in both of your portraits. I think I like the second one better as far as her pose, it seems a little more natural to me in that one, whereas the first one looks more posed to me. But I also like that the first one is closer in on her face and I think it is a well-composed shot.
ReplyDeleteI like the coloring in both of your portraits. They are a bit posed but still turned out nice. I like the bridge one because it seems more natural, maybe if she wasn't looking at the camera while she was smelling the flowers it would look more natural. Great composition.
ReplyDeleteThese portraits are great! I like the smelling flowers one. She has a great look on her face and the lighting is nice. It would have been great if there were some contrasting shadows on her face and to make the picture more interesting. But I know it's hard with the weather we have been having. Great job!
